The course was founded in 1993 and around the course you get a lot of excellent views of the Avon Valley. Although the club is situated in serene surroundings, it is well located in terms of accessibility from all parts of the country. Kilworth Springs is a course that is built on sand and shale and therefore makes the course one that can be used all year round because of the materials the course is built on makes for excellent drainage. Pytchley Golf Lodge Played and Reviewed – Friday, 12th April, 2019 Address – Kettering Rd, Pytchley, Kettering NN14 1EY Website -  https://www.pytchleygolflodgekettering.co.uk/   Course Information and Stats – Pytchley Golf Lodge is a nine hole golf course just off the A14 in Kettering. The course is a relatively new one which was the idea of a local farmer, Victor Tarry, who wanted to develop a course on his land in the 1970s. This did not happen until the early 1990s where initially the driving range was born. From this point the bar emerged and finally the course was developed and opened in 2000. Shortly after the rest of the complex was finished off. I had previously played this course in April 2014.  Upon arrival – having played this course once in April 2014 I was eager to see what the course was like. I am writing this blog four months into the year and the subject of this blog is something that would usually be covered at the start of the new year during the lull between Christmas and the start of January. From that you can probably guess that this return blog is around goals and resolutions for the year. Like a lot of people I was pleased to see the return of golf on Monday 29th March for golfers based in England, unlike the majority of golfers who will access this I have not played since the easing, this is due to a house move impending meaning all of my golf equipment is currently in storage and with my wife due to give birth in around six weeks it could be that the goals I have set are aspirational to say the least. 25. Coxmoor Nottinghamshire Distance from my home – 76 minutes  Change in Ranking from 2019 − New Entry Why has it made the list? Founded in 1913, Coxmoor is a popular Heathland course that has previously hosted Regional Open qualifiers and England Golf Senior open championships. Although it measures at 6,700 yards it has five par five holes on the course making it a challenge for short hitting golfers. Around the course it is known as a picturesque course that has a lot of highlights in the round with the 7th, 9th and 13th often referred to as being nice holes to play. How much will it cost to play there? Another course that allows visiting golfers to play the course through prior arrangement. It is also a course that caters well for societies and is popular amongst societies. A round of golf for a visitor is £75 and this is for a weekday round.
